FC Bayern Munich generated more revenue than ever before this summer by selling players. Now a new business model could probably establish itself.

Madrid as a role model: FC Bayern took in 53.5 million euros this summer just from the sale of former youth players and some reservists – plus 8.5 million for Joshua Zirkzee. According to “Bild”, this business model of young talents as an investment will be pursued more intensively in Munich in the future.

Short, compact, clear

Nübel and Tillman: As “Spox” writes, this model is most lucrative for talented people “who are already committed before their first professional contract”. Next up are Alexander Nübel (AS Monaco) and Malik Tillman (Glasgow Rangers) as resale candidates.
