The fact that Elvis is ready for almost anything has often been proven by the Mannheimer and Start from “Hartz und Herzen”. In his own web show “Einfach Elvis” he even jumped out of a plane. In the latest episode, the Barackler is aiming high again. At Mannheim Airport, he climbs into a flight simulator and has all the switches and levers in the cockpit explained to him by a real professional. After a short briefing, he already takes off in the simulator and has to realize that it looks pretty real.
Together with the pilot, Elvis flies over blooming landscapes and even allows himself to be carried away on a loop, which he masters with flying colors. But then it comes to the supreme discipline: the landing. Can the otherwise relaxed TV star also master that?
After Elvis slowly got used to the controls of the plane, things got serious. He should prepare for the first landing. He quickly realizes that this will be the hardest part and decides to fly on sight. The real pilot praises him for the approach, but then Elvis goes off track a little. With the tips of the pro, however, he manages to place the jet safely on a field next to the runway.
He has to realize that it’s not as easy as it is portrayed in some films. In reality, a trained flight attendant would probably be able to land the plane if all the pilots failed. Elvis is happy about his new knowledge and is already wallowing in the next dream.
After another landing works better, Elvis can imagine getting into a small real plane in one of the next episodes and piloting it under supervision. The pilot makes him a corresponding offer, so Elvis could soon be flying over the clouds again in reality.
