Cologne In the Terminal 1 of the airport Cologne/Bonn you don’t hear the rolling suitcases, but – nothing! The Corona-pandemic has reached the Airport. Terminals and car parks are virtually empty. Most of the shops are closed, open only the “Rewe”, smaller grocery stores and the pharmacy.

There’s hardly any flights go, get lost, too hardly any people in the airport. A passenger decline of 95 percent. Instead of the usual 27 000 took off and landed on Wednesday here, just 36 passengers – mostly flights with returnees or medical flights.

While the passenger is quasi-down operation, the freight traffic on high tours. 700 Times the Cargo lifts in the week – a little more than usual.
