– Until the end of the year, we will need to develop and coordinate with the Ministry of economic development a road map, and from the beginning of 2021 to proceed to the experiment, – said Deputy Governor for the economy of the Tomsk region Andrey Antonov. – Next year the region will operate a special right mode. It involves a simplified application of the laws governing the use of drones. Then this legal framework will spread all over the country.
In Tomsk will carry two types of goods: social and industrial. For example, medical supplies or spare parts for the needs of the oil and gas industry. Cargo drones will deliver them into remote areas.
