The history of the young five-star hotel Intercontinental in Davos GR is little to be proud of. The “Golden Egg” opened in December 2013. Shortly thereafter, the tenant went bankrupt. In the off-season from April to June 2015 the Hotel to be made for individual guests – the strategy was no longer profitable. Also US President Donald Trump (72) not helped with his WEF 2018 to the hoped-for guests-breakthrough.

And now this: “Even in the middle of the high season the usage of the Davos luxury hotels is insufficient.” The “Sunday newspaper” writes. The “Golden Egg” have guests lack.
