Georgia recalled its Ambassador to Ukraine

The Ministry of foreign Affairs of Georgia recalled its Ambassador to Ukraine in connection with the possible appointment of former Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili, Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine.

According newposts.ge, Minister of foreign Affairs of Georgia David Zalkaliani “were very upset” with the decision of the Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky on the possible appointment of Saakashvili.

The Georgian Prime Minister George Gakharia stated that it considers unacceptable for Tbilisi Saakashvili’s appointment in Ukraine.

Earlier, Saakashvili said that the Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky invited him to become Deputy Prime Minister for reform and to engage in negotiations with the IMF.
