“Genocide” anti-aircraft missile and gun complex (zrpk) “Pantsir-S1” Russian production in Syria and Libya can be attributed to the existence of the “funnel is dead” (“dead zone”), writes “the Star”.

In June in the same “Star” said that the export version of this zrpk has only an optical control system and “therefore not well suited to deal with such goals as the Turkish Bayraktar TB2”.

In the same month, Defense Express, citing its own sources, reported that in recent years during the military conflicts in Syria and Libya has been destroyed at least 23 complexes “Shell-S1” Russian production.

In may, the Ukrainian Agency attack Bayraktar TB2 on the “Shells” called “a real genocide”.

at the same time the Turkish Anadolu news Agency reported the destruction of Libya in nine developing Russian production.

The dead zone refers to an area within which radar for various reasons, in particular technical or geographic, cannot detect the target.
