Former Deputy head of the Department “K” (supervises the banking sector) of the economic security service FSB Colonel Dmitry Frolov received monthly 100-150 thousand euros from the Bank’s management Kreditimpeks. About it reports “Kommersant”.

According to the newspaper, the testimony about getting Frolov gave the money to his colleague FSB Colonel Cyril Cherkalin, who was also arrested by the investigation. According to him, an intermediary in the transfer of money was made by major General Department of military counterintelligence. Frolov received from the bankers the money from October 2007 to July 2013, instead of providing a credit institution their patronage. During this period, as estimated by the investigation, the security officer handed over a total of 87 million rubles. But the Bank held only in 2013, the questionable transactions of 13 billion rubles. In 2014, the credit institution has revoked the license.

Frolov served in the FSB from 2006 to 2013 until 16 July 2013 he was fired from the post of Deputy head of Department “To” in connection with loss of trust. The reason for the resignation was undeclared property in Italy with his family.
