– On behalf of the President, we must preserve the integrity of cultural heritage – the Historic Boulevard – said Musienko. – If the real estate is a bona fide purchaser, we will consider purchase.

11 may the President of Russia Vladimir Putin following the meeting with the Sevastopol activists were instructed to form sentences about the liberation of the territory of the Historic Boulevard “from third-party commercial organizations not related to the Museum’s activities.”

According to Musienko, by now established the individuals and organizations which own the buildings.

On our site are Zelenkhoz (owner in Bashkiria), the terrarium (LLC “Krymtur”), cafe “Redoubt”, workshop “Granite and marble”, two buildings DOSAAF, attractions, as well as the private house, – says the Director of the Museum. – Almost everything – in an abandoned and dilapidated condition, repair and return, however, the owners require them for large sums.

For two objects, the Museum undertook an independent evaluation, which showed that the market value is much below that which is called owners.

Nikolay Musiyenko noted that when forming the boundaries of the Historic Boulevard, which is included in the list of objects of cultural heritage of Federal importance, were not taken into account the requirements of the Federal law No. 73-FZ of 25.06.2002 “On the objects of cultural heritage (monuments of history and culture) of peoples of the Russian Federation” in terms of maintaining the integrity of the monuments.

according to Vice-Governor of Sevastopol Olga Timofeeva at today’s meeting of the local branch of the Russian military-historical society, the city government is negotiating with the owners. Some of them, in particular, DOSAAF, agreed to transfer their buildings to the Museum. But others insist on redemption.

– the Owners of Ukrainian years the property has received Historic Boulevard, which now basically consists of the ruins, – said Timofeeva. But now the “bona fide purchaser” for its ruins nominate commercial requirements for redemption. The remnants of the cafe “Redoubt” named the sum of 40 million rubles – this is wild and unfounded, people are actually trying to cash in on the city and on all of us. So we are working in two directions: on the one hand, trying to understand how the acquisition was fair, and with another – to conduct an independent evaluation of these objects.
