Federal service of execution of punishments (FSIN) has accused the French TV channel France24 in destabilizing the situation in Russia. This is stated in circulation on the website of the Ministry of the Irkutsk region.

In a statement, the FSIN has prompted the material of the channel about the consequences of the riot in penal colony No. 15 in Angarsk.

In the work of France24 says that people "worried about the fate of dozens of detainees following the brutal suppression of the rebellion". For more than a month, the family supposedly "I do not know whether their relatives". Service denied this information and noted that to date, personal interviews with prisoners was visited by 75 people.

Journalists also made a claim about the fact that their crew was not allowed on the territory of IR-15. FSIN explained the restriction was imposed due to the coronavirus restrictive measures.

The revolt in the colony occurred on 9 April. One of the prisoners provoked the conflict, which resulted in the injured employee of the Federal penitentiary service. The next day the colony started a fire in the area of 30 thousand square meters.
