the Acting senior Director for Russian and European Affairs in the national security Council (NSC) Secretary Tom Williams will go to work in the Pentagon. This was reported by Advisor to the President of Donald trump on homeland security, Robert O’brien, reports Axios.
For the last time this is the fourth senior official in charge in the White house the Russian direction, which leaves the position, the newspaper notes.
Peak became Director of Russia’s NSC in November 2019, replacing Tim Morrison. That, in turn, took this position instead of Fiona hill, who was responsible for coordinating U.S. policy towards Europe and Russia from 2017 to August 2019.
