Japanese scientists have learned to predict a number of common diseases in the three years prior to their development. It is reported RIA Novosti with reference to the Agency “Kyodo”.

of the University of Hirosaki, and Kyoto, have developed a method to determine the exact probability of about 20 diseases, in particular diabetes, dementia, arteriosclerosis, hypertension, chronic renal failure, osteoporosis, obesity, coronary heart disease and a number of others.

With the artificial intelligence they created a system of analysis of medical records of a person by 20 categories, which also takes into account data on the physical condition of man, his genetic predisposition, lifestyle and bad habits. The development was carried out on the basis of data for about 20 thousand people.

“We were able with a high degree of accuracy to predict the likelihood of disease in humans within the next three years,” said Professor Yasushi Okuno of Kyoto University. According to scientists, their method will prevent the development of diseases in advance by taking certain steps and changing their lifestyle.
