One of the largest aircraft manufacturers Airbus found a way to detect coronavirus on Board aircraft and in airports. This information was published the New York Post.

To do this, the organization began working with a California startup Koniku, which deals with developments in the field of biological technologies. The company is already working on an innovation that will help to detect and monitor substances produced in the body when infected with the virus.

“most of the infections and diseases, leading to small changes in our breath, which then lead to severe odors. If we are able to recognize these odors, we can determine the presence of viruses,” explained the founder of a startup Osh Agabi.

He said that their invention will work with contactless sensors and receptors are programmed to recognize changes in the composition of sweat and breath.

“When the airport finally opens for commercial flights, they will need to implement our invention as a security measure for screening passengers for the presence of COVID-19,” said Agabi.

according to the magazine, Airbus plans to install these sensors in its planes.

Earlier in may, scientists at the Federal University of Bahia in Brazil called travel major cause of the spread of coronavirus across the planet. So, according to conclusions of experts, countries that have banned international air services have achieved greater success in combating infection than those who still have not adopted these measures.
