In Israel, the boy found a small clay tablet, which is about 3500 years. Its uniqueness lies in the fact that it shows a scene of the consequences of the struggle for power in the ancient Canaanite society.

according to The Jerusalem Post, the find was made six-year-old Imrie Elia, a resident of kibbutz Nirim. Together with his family he visited in the ancient city of tel-Gemma, which was excavated only a century ago.

the attention of the boy drew a tiny object about the size 2,8×2,8 cm. It was a unique artifact. Specialists of the Israeli antiquities authority has established that this item probably dates to the late bronze age.

according to archaeologist Saar Ganor, the age of the artifact may be about 3,500 years old. It is a clay tablet, which depicts, presumably, the soldier with the prisoner.

“Nothing like this has ever been found in excavations in Israel, said Saar Ganor. – We know that a similar object was found only in the North of Sinai. But we don’t know exactly what he looked like, since excavations there were carried out about 100 years ago, and the description of a found object turned out to be not very accurate.”

the City of tel-Gemma was situated in a place that was first inhabited in the Chalcolithic age circa 6000 years ago. Life flourished here until the Hellenistic period, to the decline of the city came in the I century BC. The most important period in the history of this settlement belongs to the bronze age, and it began approximately 3,500 years ago.

Scholars identify tell-Gemma with the powerful Canaanite city of Yurza. It was mentioned in the letters of the period, discovered ranee in Egypt during excavations in El-Amarna.

“These letters were written in the Arcadian language, which was then an international language, like English today, says Ganor. – At that time, Egypt ruled Canaan, but Canaan was divided into city-States, such as Gaza, Ashkelon and Lachish. And each of them rules your local king”.

Earlier in tel-Gemma archaeologists have discovered the remains of the Palace and monumental buildings. Probably, in it lived the local ruler. It is also established that the center of this city had a population of approximately 1,500 people, while the rest live on the outskirts.

archaeologists believe that the sign depicted in the scene is an illustration of the events that happened then – the confrontation of local kings who fought each other for power.

While the ancient author tried to show ethnic differences in terms of the two men. Invader wearing a skirt, his face is more round than the prisoner, and her hair curly. Himself a prisoner, very thin, his hands tied behind his back. His very posture portrays humiliation is common for parades of that time, who organized in honor of military victories.

by the Way, this technique images of famous scientists. Previously, such drawings have been found on objects excavated in Egypt. In this case the researchers do not rule out that the artifact was part of a much larger picture.
