11. Sebastian Vettel (Aston Martin)

14. Mick Schumacher (Haas)

The most important things in brief: world champion Max Verstappen took over the championship lead in Formula 1 for the first time this year by winning the Spanish Grand Prix. The 24-year-old Dutchman prevailed in Barcelona and benefited from the loss of the previous World Cup leader Charles Leclerc.

The Monegasse had to park his Ferrari early with engine problems while in the lead. Verstappen’s Mexican teammate Sergio Perez steered his Red Bull into second place, third at hot temperatures of 37 degrees was the Brit George Russell in the Mercedes. After six races of the season, Verstappen is six points ahead of Leclerc.

Mick Schumacher missed the first World Championship point of his career again in 14th place in the Haas racing car. Former world champion Sebastian Vettel drove his Aston Martin just ahead of him in eleventh place and also went empty-handed in Catalonia.
