“I was a little impatient,” says Charles Leclerc to be self-critical. However, this property he had stored in his first year in the Ferrari factory team in the formula 1. Today, he says: “patience is something very Important. And in the case of Ferrari, I’ve learned to have patience.”

“in the past,” explains Leclerc in an Instagram Posting with catch frases, “I had my problems.” In the meantime, however, he added, to him, far better to keep his expectations in check and not try to Bend and Break to make two steps at once.

He had developed a new Serenity, says Leclerc. His philosophy loud now: “Sometimes, you’ll get what you want, but sometimes it takes just patience, if you want to learn from the Best, Seb from the Team.”

The first visit to Maranello

You have to give things “time”, “so you can sink in,” says Leclerc. Too much grimness is misplaced. “Because you have to, it can wait.”

In the process, Leclerc has already proven in front of his Ferrari time patience: from the moment his first visit to Maranello over a decade ago, he had felt the desire to one day formula 1 driver for the Italian team.

“I was eleven, twelve years old, and with Jules [Bianchi] on-the-go,” says the 22-Year-old. “In the city, I came into it, but not in the Ferrari plants. I still had no approval.”

Schumacher as a Ferrari-Idol

That changed, however, with his appointment to the Ferrari Junior project. “I had admired the factory from the outside and dreamed of one day once in privileges,” says Leclerc. “Now it’s a bit easier for me to get access to the work.”

Just be large Ferrari-Idol Leclerc not to meet: Michael Schumacher. The formula 1-record world champion and one of Motorsport heroes Leclerc. “I was young, as he won”, he says. “That’s very impressive.”
