Former football player of Ajax’s Abdelhak Nouri came out of the coma in which he stayed for 2 years, 8 months and 19 days. As the portal TalkSport, the 22-year-old athlete can eat and sit in a wheelchair.

According to his brother Abderrahim, Nuri spoke, raising an eyebrow, and responded to watching football on TV.

Nuri lost consciousness during a friendly game against Werder Bremen. He became ill in the 72nd minute of the match. The Dutchman of Moroccan origin themselves lay on the field, then lost consciousness. The cause of the loss of the consciousness of the player was cardiac arrhythmia. Player promptly sent by helicopter to hospital, where he was put into an artificial coma.

the midfielder revealed serious and irreversible brain damage and the doctors practically gave him no chance of recovery.

After 2 years, 8 months and 19 days, Abdelhak Nouri has woken from a coma.

He can now eat and sit in a wheelchair.
