the reconstruction of the Chamber scene of the State academic Bolshoi theatre will be allocated 7.48 billion rubles. The corresponding decree was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin. For viewers, the scene opens in 2025.

In the text of the decree published on the government website, in particular, says that the allocated funds will be used for design work and restoration. Recall that the Chamber stage occupies several historic buildings on Nikolskaya street. One of them was badly damaged during a fire in 1993 and was recognized as an emergency.

In a press-service of the government noted that the plans to recreate the historic appearance of the building and strengthen the supporting structures. Inside will be a new auditorium for 500 seats, a stage equipped with the latest technology, spacious lobby and dressing rooms and wardrobes. The site of the existing hall plan to host the rehearsal. In addition, Chamber stage adapted for people with disabilities.

the Funds will be allocated for the period from 2020 to 2024. Design work is anticipated to be completed in 2021, and the main construction work is planned for 2022-2024 years. Chamber stage will re-open for spectators in 2025.
