Russia plans to ship quail eggs to the ISS. Prepared equipment for experiments will be delivered to the international space station in 2021. This was stated by the Deputy Director for science of the Institute of biomedical problems of RAS Vladimir Sychev.

“Send the equipment to the ISS was in it, but now delayed for next year, because tied to the launch of a new Russian module “Science” – with reference to the expert RIA Novosti reported.

Experiments with quails have already been conducted in space, on the ISS yet. First to orbit quail eggs sent in 1979. In 1990, in orbit hatched first prepeleac, and in 1999 born in space Chicks managed to return alive to the Earth.
