In the Murmansk region launched a system of subsidies for production of national films, which will be filmed in the territory of the Kola Peninsula. Until September 7 the film company can apply for grants to reimburse up to 30 percent of the cost of shooting films in the Arctic.

We created a film Commission and the centre for the development of the film industry to help visiting crews.

Recall that in the Arctic came 25 representatives of the leading film companies of the country. Among the participants – the creators of the series “Cheeky” and movie “to Kill Stalin”, “T-34”, “SMERSH”, “the Country bears”. Here they are going to find here a suitable place for future shoots. For example, Director Philip Abryutin looking for locations for his new film about Chukotka, the shooting of which will start in 2021.
