Fighting COVID-19: Italy has taken emergency measures

In particular, the document provides for the virtual isolation of the entire Northern region of Lombardy and the 14 provinces in the regions of Veneto, including Venice, Emilia-Romagna, Tuscany and Marche. In these regions banned the exit and entry of people, except in cases of emergency.

at the same time throughout Italy, completely stopped the work of all sporting and entertainment venues, and cultural institutions, including theatres, museums and libraries, reports TASS.

in addition, imposes restrictions on opening hours of bars and restaurants that will be able to serve customers from 6 a.m. to 6 PM. At the same time visitors will sit at a distance of not less than a meter from each other.

According to recent reports, the past days the number of lethal cases caused by a novel coronavirus, the disease was 36, reaching 233, and the total number of infected persons was 5883. Recovered to date – 589.
