Two meters of distance between the pupils, and a free floor area of respectively six and four square meters in nurseries and kindergartens.

this is the sound of the guidelines, as in these days given the leaders of the country’s schools and day care centers to wring the brain for creative solutions before the children returns after easter.

But in the House The Green Wedge in Hvalsø, Zealand has possibly found a solution.

“It will be a problem with the square, because we can only be 12 on each room in the nursery, where we usually are 24, while we in the nursery are only allowed to be eight in each living room, where we usually have 12,” says Sonja Dreesen, who is the head of the institution.

“So therefore we had to be solution-oriented, and then I got the idea to contact the local teltudlejningsfirma to rent a large party tent that we can be standing outside, which the children can use as a kind of base and wardrobe,” she tells further about the idea, which you have taken with the Sct. Joseph’s School in Ringsted, where, according to the SN.dk put four tents in the schoolyard.

As I said, so done, and The Green Wedge expect that a 60 square meters large party tent stands on the institution grounds, when that opens Thursday 16. april.

“We luckily have some good conditions here in The Green Wedge, where we have room for it. Right now it’s the beautiful weather, but it can quickly switch. At the same time, we can comply with the guidelines issued by the authorities,” says Sonja Dreesen.

It is, however, not entirely smoothly for The Green Wedge.

According to Sonja Dreesen it becomes a challenge to cover the full opening hours because of staff resources, and moreover, you are required to take several rooms and areas in the need to live up to the guidelines.

Teltudlejningsfirma: It is a patch on the wound

At Hvalsø Teltudlejning to deliver the tent to The Green Wedge, you are happy for the opportunity that now offered itself. For with view to a spring with virtually no income can Sonja Dreesens idea to keep the business up.

“We have already received inquiries from other schools and day care, and now we are in dialogue with, and so I have even contacted several schools on Zealand for the hearing, though it could be a possibility with them,” says Claus Petersen, who also is president of the Association of Danish Festudlejere.

“We lose the turnover in the crisis, and the spring is the time when we build a buffer up for the rest of the year. Everything is cancelled – so it can here be a patch on the wound, but it is far from enough to cover the entire deficit, which we overlook,” he says further.

Also at Jysk Festudlejning makes you ready to help schools and day care centers. Owner Hans Iversen tells that he is in dialogue with Skanderborg Municipality on the same solution, and that he Sunday morning was approached by a day care, who would like to rent five tents.

“Some schools have sought after it, and it is a perfect opportunity to advance the teaching outside, while compliance with the guidelines. The tents can be supplied with solid floor, and they have a size that makes it possible,” he says and adds that they also provide both tables and chairs.

According to the national Association of Municipalities (KL) is every other municipality is ready to open schools and day-care centres on Wednesday.
