Traditional, sixth international festival “Jazzовые seasons” in Gorky Lena are scheduled for the end of summer on August 22 and 23. The organizers believe that by this time, the epidemiological situation in the suburbs is finally returning to normal.
the Founder and artistic Director of “Jazzовых seasons” saxophonist, people’s artist of Russia Igor Butman talks about his brainchild this way:
For us “Jazzовые seasons” festival, where we get aesthetic pleasure from what we hear and what we see around us. We try to discover new names and, of course, to invite superstars. What is the difference between our concerts in the Hills? Great sound. All ensembles there sounds just awesome!
And it’s amazing how nature, all paths, trees and the estate Morozova (near her built stage – approx. ed.) not only creates a special atmosphere, but also some acoustic Paradise!
this year at the open-air Lenin in Gorki will be: Igor Butman and the Moscow jazz orchestra, a Trio of Oleg akkuratova Quartet Eugene Pobiega, Larisa Dolina, Sergei Mazaev (which not only the soloist “the Moral code”, but excellent saxophonist, clarinetist and leader of his “QueenТета”), the singer Fantine with his band and others.
