As expected, Daniel Didavi will not extend his expiring contract with VfB Stuttgart. This ends his time with the Swabians. Didavi spent most of his career at VfB.

Farewell: Daniel Didavi (32) will leave VfB Stuttgart. This is reported by “Sky”. After nine seasons, the German will look for a new challenge. So far, nothing is known about potential buyers. Didavi has been playing for VfB Stuttgart again since 2018 and remained loyal to the club even after relegation in 2019.

Long journey together: Didavi has been playing for Stuttgart since he was young. Already in 1997 he switched to the Swabians. The 32-year-old also spent most of his professional career at VfB. Outside of Stuttgart, he was only under contract for two years in Wolfsburg and one year in Nuremberg. In total, Didavi made 152 competitive appearances for VfB, in which he scored 31 goals.

A happy end to the season: VfB Stuttgart only managed to prevent relegation on the last day of the game. With a 2-1 home win against 1. FC Köln, the Swabians overtook Hertha BSC. Didavi was not used.
