Griffintown’s Peel Basin will host a brand new festival focusing on Vietnamese culture from June 15 to 18. Its name, Chợ Đêm MTL, means “night market” in Vietnamese.

You can discover fresh produce and savor street food (think bánh mì sandwiches, gỏi cuốn spring rolls, green papaya salad or bò lá lốt, grilled beef wrapped in piper leaves lollot).

Also on the program: dance, music and even magic shows, offered by local Vietnamese artists.

The event is organized by the Association of Vietnamese Quebecers. Admission: $3 per person, free for 12 and under and 65 and over.
