During his more than twenty-year career, Eugene Miller, walked a fascinating path from the actor of Novosibirsk theatre “the globe” to one of the main faces of the Moscow theatre of Oleg Tabakov. — Such a hero to play and really had never. And I really wanted to get this role, because the material is much. So I, like everyone else, went to the audition, which was two or three.
Movies and TV shows on the stage script is always intriguing with an open ending: never clear what happens after the filming and editing. Or have the script you can understand that the film has a chance for success?

— I do not consider myself to artists of any genre. More important to me is the role and the script.

— I was very lucky with the Directors, who were able to see me as different characters and personalities. I was given the role of people, each other well, not similar. There were heroes and neurotics, and scum and crooks. I have not driven in one particular role or genre. — never heard… In my view, theater is an action that cannot be corrected on-the-go. And even if we have to get out in front of the audience, it should be done so that no one noticed. — Now in theaters you can already rehearse. In the Tabakov theatre too start working?
— We rehearsed the play “And then there were none”, but then with the announcement of regime of isolation work to a halt. To play in a mask is not easy, but at least this way we rehearse it live.

And sounded a lot of criticism, which boiled down to the fact that the theatrical art is hard to assess not being in the hall. In your opinion, online performances — idea with a future?
— This makes sense and is even necessary, but as a temporary measure. People in a situation where you cannot visit a theatre, concert or Museum should be given the opportunity to make it at least through the Internet. You cannot leave a person without culture. Of course in the there is no effect of presence, no sense of breath in the hall, it seems as if men are playing something in the box. But at least for now. Acting is a very emotional lesson and many of your colleagues talked about how sometimes hard to distinguish between shootings, rehearsals and normal life. You manage to leave work at work?
— I’m a real Samoyed, so the constant scrolling all the rehearsals, mistakes, amendments and other things I have going on in my sleep. I all the time are in a sort of workflow, and perhaps this has some kind of abnormality. In some situations it is better to leave me alone and give them the opportunity to think through and solve.

Probably when it seems like everything about myself and forgot no one wants you, panic can occur in anyone, not just the actor. But I’m a worrier and neurotic.
How do you escape from the gloomy thoughts: a walk in the Park, a good book, a glass of something delicious?
— a Glass of something tasty is a great pleasure. And I notice that when things are going wrong, I need some movement. It is possible to buy something, you can go somewhere by car. In General, you need to move. I find it hard to sit in one place. Books another story… I was forced to read this lesson, I have a complex, often fall asleep. — We are lucky that we spent this time not in any apartment without a balcony, and in a country house.
