A four-day curfew is introduced in 31 provinces of Turkey, from 16 to 19 may in connection with the epidemic of coronavirus, said the President of the country Tayyip Erdogan.

Earlier in 31 provinces of Turkey, including Ankara, Istanbul and Antalya, curfews were imposed 11-12, 18-19, 23-26 April 1-3 and may 9-10.

"From 16 to 19 may, the newly introduced curfew. It starts with 0.00 Saturday and will last till 24.00 of Tuesday," Erdogan said in a televised address to the nation.

He added that for the nine Turkish provinces (Adana, Diyarbakir, Mardin, Trabzon, Ordu, Denizli, Kahramanmaraş, şanlıurfa, tekirdağ) removed the prohibition on entry and exit, it is saved in 16 provinces including Ankara and Istanbul.
