The Ministry of health of Egypt reported on Friday about record-high number of recorded day cases of coronavirus – 358, the number of deaths from COVID-19 exceeded 400.
"Recorded 358 new positive tests for coronavirus, detected through monitoring procedures (informed contact with patients – ed.) per day from the disease killed 14 people" – it is told in received RIA Novosti news Agency the statement of the official representative of the Ministry of health of the country Khaled Mogahed.
According to the speaker, all new patients are in hospitals for cases of coronavirus and receive medical care in accordance with who guidelines.
"Total number of cases of coronavirus in Egypt as of Tuesday 5,895 people, 1460 people recovered, killed 406 people", – said Mugahed.
Thus Egypt came in first place among African countries in the number of reported cases COVID-19.
Health Minister Hala Zayed said on Thursday that Egypt has started on a pilot basis to replace the plasma recovered coronavirus patients are currently in critical condition.
