The founder of social network Vkontakte and messenger Telegram Pavel Durov promised to return most of the collected money to investors who invest in his new project to launch a blockchain platform TON (Telegram Open Network) and cryptocurrencies Gram. This is stated in a letter to investors, excerpts of which leads owned by Grigory Berezkin RBC.

The report States that to run the project until 30 April as was originally planned, failed due to the claims of the American authorities. The Commission on securities and exchange Commission (SEC) still maintains that the Gram tokens meet all the criteria of the securities, since their primary customers, the promised profit at resale.

Based on this, the SEC has made an interim injunction on the placement of tokens. For him, the creators TON to Gram 175 for the first buyers. In such circumstances, Durov together with partners offered investors two options for reimbursement: to obtain 72 percent of the invested funds now or 110 percent to 30 APR 2021.

Payments choosing the second option will be made through the sale of shares of the founders of Telegram messenger (if permission for a full launch of the project to fail).

The first two rounds of placing tokens Gram (in the future they should be converted into a full-fledged unit of the new cryptocurrency) were held in 2018. Among buyers, according to media reports, there were several major Russian businessmen.
