Quadcopters we desired to carry out inspection of forest plots lessees and to assess the quality of works at felling, – said the Director of the Department of forestry complex of the Tyumen region Nikolay Purtov. With the help of the quadcopter we will find a forest fire and to assess the effectiveness of extinguishing it, and also to fix the violations along the roads on camera. Drones are aircraft type is needed in order to cover more ground when patrolling the forest Fund.
Now the experts will be able to quickly detect wildfires, quickly assess the extent of the burning forest, to determine the direction of the fire and also to find ways of entrance of equipment for operational firefighting. This reconnaissance will allow to quickly deal with the elements. Professional drones will also be involved in the fight against illegal logging and violations of forest laws.

Eight specialists of the Tyumen base have been trained on management of a new flying technique. Will be soon training of two specialists. The accumulated experience will show how drones are effective in the protection of forests, whether to replenish their fleet.
