The self-Proclaimed head of the Donetsk national Republic (DND) Denis Putilin made the decision on the termination of only working on the frontline with Ukraine checkpoint entry and exit (KPVV). This was reported on his official website.

Pushilin issued a decree according to which entry and exit via PPC “Elenovka” temporarily suspended from 00:00 hours on 28 June 2020. The reasons for this decision have not been disclosed.

Before DNR opened the border with Russia for certain categories of citizens. The ban was in force for more than two months because of a pandemic coronavirus. From June 22, the inhabitants of the DNI can go to Russia for citizenship in organized groups.

June 22, in Ukraine opened the checkpoints in the Elenovka and Novotroitsk in the Donbass. June 10, Kiev unilaterally opened the checkpoint of entry-departure (KPVV) on the demarcation line “Marinka”, but Donetsk has left a similar checkpoint closed.

March 16, Ukraine has closed the border crossing points on the border with the breakaway republics of Donbass because of the threat of the spread of coronavirus. For its part, the DNI and the LC is also closed KPVV, leaving the opportunity to return for the citizens of the breakaway republics who are currently on Ukrainian territory.
