You’ve worked together recently. What was at the site of Viktor Proskurin? In recent years, he was probably not so easy?

Your “Apostasia” was one of his last works. Why you invited Proskurina.
– Read the script of “Apostasy” (the working title is “the Triptych”), Victor said that he really wants to participate. And besides, the character he played, was originally written under it. When the writer discussed the character, I thought about what it would be Victor Proskurin. Working with him is a pleasure. Well, the bully he is, of course, in all its manifestations, ranging from communicating with the young actors, ending a relationship with anyone.

I wouldn’t say it has to do with the disease, because only he knew about it. Of course, the farther, the more it reflected on him, in his external manifestations. But the disease he does not interfere with work. I don’t know how to live. Apparently, it was some inconvenience. I don’t think he refused roles due to his illness. He was a very strong criterion in the selection of the material where he wants to work, and where not. He himself firmly in that showed. I have a feeling that many of the proposals, which he did, he was just rejected. I’m talking about several such cases personally heard from him.
– I thought that it’s just afraid. He could be sharp. Many do not want, as they say, with uncomfortable people to deal with.
– Yes, he was quite sharp. But if its a good Zn��t, it becomes clear that all this harshness is not of forwardness, and the understanding of what is happening in the profession. He is powerful theatre school. Today actors that have it, life is very complicated. Because the requirements are now very strange. And the people who are brought up in a different culture, immediately begin to respond to them. When it happens once, you can remain silent and his mustache smile. But when it is repeated dozens of times, you realize that traffic is going somewhere. And here begins the sharp internal relationship with today. Hence the intransigence of the Victor, which some say. Its a little bit rusty. It’s true. He’s a complicated man but very bright.
