Astrakhan state Conservatory announced the death of jazz singer Larisa Sazonova.

It happened in the night of 4 June. At the Conservatory, said that over the life of the actress, the doctors fought selflessly in difficult conditions coronavirus epidemic.

As explained in the regional Ministry of culture, artist born in Astrakhan in 1963, died on 58-m to year of life.

Larisa Sazonova studied at the Odessa national music Academy and worked in the Astrakhan Philharmonic society. Since 1992, she was the soloist. Also, the artist taught at the Astrakhan Conservatory.

“In the encyclopedic reference book “jazz in Russia” it is rightly called “one of the most famous jazz performers of the southern Volga region”. She is a master of swing, wonderful jazz improviser, the owner of a vast range and extensive repertoire. The name Larissa is included in the “all-Russian encyclopedia of jazz”, – reported in the Ministry of culture of the region.

Astrakhan culture has suffered an irreparable loss – in the 58 year of his life left us the famous and much-loved jazz singer Larisa Sazonova ⠀ Endowed with a huge, extraordinary talent, she lived a colorful and eventful life, having devoted himself to the stage. Her extraordinary voice has won the hearts of thousands of amazing candour and a strong charisma. The artist left behind not only a rich artistic heritage, but also the talented pupils – followers of her case, which we are sure will serve the art as faithfully, as did she. The bright memory of the outstanding compatriot will be with us forever ⠀ Express our sincere condolences to the family and friends of Larisa Vladimirovna. A concert in memory of the singer will be held in Astrakhan, as soon as they lifted restrictions on holding mass events
