On 74-m to year of life died the Olympic champion of Innsbruck 1976 hockey player Alexander Gusev. It is reported RIA Novosti with reference to the press service of the CSKA hockey club.
Gusev played at the position defender and most of his career was spent in CSKA Moscow. He also played for CSKA, SKA MVO, “the Star” (Tchebarkul) and SKA. Seven times he ran in the national championship.
In the national team of the Soviet Union in addition to the Olympic gold in 1976, also twice won the highest award of the world Championships.
Gusev – member of the legendary 1972 summit Series, and his image was used in the film “Legend number 17”.
