American actor John Saxon died at the age of 83, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
According to the widow of the artist Gloria, the cause of death was pneumonia.
Saxon was born on 5 Aug 1936 in new York. For 60 years, his acting career, he played in more than 200 films. His most famous works — "Appaloosa", "enter the dragon", "a Nightmare on elm street" (three parts — 1984, 1987, 1994) and "From dusk till dawn".
The actor was married three times, he had a son.
