At the age of 86 years has died the Soviet and Russian Director Aleksandr Bogolyubov. This was reported on the website of the Union of cinematographers of the Russian Federation.

“On 87-m to year of life has become our friend and fellow member of the Union of cinematographers of Russia, film Director of feature films Bogolyubov Alexander Akimovich. Our condolences to the family and friends of Alexander Akimovich,” – said in Union.

the Cause of death of the Director is not called. At the end of January this year, Bogolyubov due to health problems was hospitalized in one of clinics of Moscow.

Bogolyubov graduated from the directing Department of the Kiev State Institute of theatrical arts in 1962. After his studies he worked for several years as a second Director at the Studio to them. A. P. Dovzhenko and in the Odessa film Studio. Until 1979, he was shooting non-fiction films, then cartoons and feature films.

Among the films Bogolyubov – “Melody for two voices” and “the Battalions ask for fire”, shot in collaboration with Vladimir Chebotaryov. Alexander Bogolyubov is the father of the famous actor Oskar Kuchera.
