The designer of rocket engines Anatoly Daron died. About it reports a press-service of the scientific production Association (NPO) “Energomash” named after academician Glushko.

“Energomash”, according to “Rambler”, is a head enterprise of Association of leading Russian enterprises of rocket engine.

Today, his press service reported on the passing of Daron in USA on 95-m to year of life as a result of acute cardio-renal failure, which he suffered for many years.

“the Bright memory of the outstanding scientist and designer, will remain forever in our hearts”, — says the publication.

Daron was born in 1926 in Odessa, in 1948 graduated from the Moscow aviation Institute (MAI), in August 1948, started working in the “Energomash”. He left there in 1998, having passed a way from engineer to head of Department and lead designer.

Daron was the lead designer in the development of rocket engines RD-107, RD-108 and RD-270. Rocket spaceship “Vostok-1”, first phone, lifted the man, Soviet cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin, into orbit, was equipped with a RD-107.
