(Montreal) Quebec filmmaker Denys Arcand will have a stamp bearing his likeness.
Canada Post will hold a ceremony at the Outremont Theater in Montreal next week to unveil the special stamp. This will enter circulation on June 28.
During the event, personalities and relatives will be present to pay tribute to the director and screenwriter.
Denys Arcand has directed several landmark films in the history of Quebec, including The Decline of the American Empire, and its sequel, The Barbarian Invasions, which won an Oscar.
