The number of passengers of the Moscow Central ring (MCK) reached about 650 thousand people per day. This was stated by the Deputy Director General of JSC “RZD” Oleg Tony.
According to him, the company did not anticipate that passenger traffic “is so explosive”. He noted that there were numbers from 250 thousand to 600 thousand passengers a day.
— This is the maximum that we thought that once (it will be). 650 (thousand people per day — approx. “VM”) being taken now, — said Tony was the TV channel “Russia 24”.
He added that in the future it is expected that ICC will benefit more than 650 million people a year.
We will remind, the Moscow Central ring launched 10 September 2016. The line passes through 26 Metropolitan areas, which are home to about two million people. On MCC go high-speed trains “Swallow”, air conditioning, power sockets, toilets and free Wi-Fi.
