Munich The Corona-crisis, Bavaria’s Prime Minister Markus Söder (53, CSU) makes it the most popular politicians.
According to a new survey by the Institute INSA of CSU chief, according to “Focus” on the approval of 156 out of 300 possible points.
This is the highest value measured since the beginning of the surveys in January 2019 ever for a German politician. For Söder, the value represents an improvement of 28 points compared to the previous week.

▶︎ On court two, German Chancellor Angela Merkel (CDU) managed to finish with 138 points (plus 12) before the Federal Minister of health, Jens Spahn (CDU), with 131 points (plus 6) and Finance Minister Olaf Scholz (SPD) with 121 points (plus 8).
North Rhine-Westphalia’s Prime Minister Armin Laschet (CDU) lost a point and ended up with 115 in fifth place. His competitor in the race for the CDU Chairman Friedrich Merz, to put a point and ended up with 108 points on eighth place in the approval rankings. The third candidate, Norbert Röttgen, lost three points and reached a total of 97 on place ten.
