MOSCOW, may 4/ Radio Sputnik. The presidential election in Belarus will take place in summer, despite the pandemic coronavirus, the date will be determined soon, said the leader of the Republic Alexander Lukashenko during an online talks with President of Moldova Igor Dodon on Monday.
According to the calendar of the Belarusian Central election Commission, presidential elections should be held in Belarus in 2020. As reported RIA Novosti, the head of the Belarusian Central election Commission Lidia Yermoshina, August 30, is the only possible date for a vote, and its transfer is possible only under introduction of state of emergency, which with high probability is not expected.
Earlier radio Sputnik reported that Alexander Lukashenko held a meeting on epigastrica in the country.
