instead to celebrate the queen’s birthday this summer hope the city of Aarhus to make it in the early summer of 2021.

About two months, Aarhus take against the queen and celebrate her birthday.

Now it’s still not something, as the queen’s birthday celebration and sommertogt to Aarhus 5. and 6. June is cancelled.

this was stated by The Aarhus Municipality, in a press release.

the Cancellation occurs as a result of the government’s decision to extend the ban on large gatherings to 31. august.

the Extension was announced by the prime minister Mette Frederiksen (S), at a press conference on Monday evening.

Aarhus Municipality plans in place to celebrate the queen in the early summer of 2021.

– the Whole town had rejoiced to welcome and celebrate Her Majesty the Queen.

– We will instead use our time and resources on getting the best possible through coronakrisen – and so instead, look forward to to be able to celebrate her majesty in the early summer of next year, says mayor Jacob Bundsgaard (S) in the press release from Aarhus Municipality.

the Royal family confirms itself in a press release, that the visit to Aarhus will be deferred.

It is reported also, that the planned sommertogt to Anholt 3. June is cancelled due to coronasituationen. Also here, the hope is to be able to visit in the early summer of 2021.

the Queen reaches 80 years of age 16. april of this year.

Not only the queen’s birthday celebration will be affected by coronasituationen.

All the activities of the queen and the royal family in connection with the marking of the 100-year anniversary of the reunification of Denmark and south Jutland in July is cancelled.

The original plan was that the queen and the royal family from the 9. 12. July should have visited southern Jutland along the same route that the queen’s grandfather, king Christian the 10., had followed 100 years earlier.

The cancelled visit will be carried out with genforeningsdagen 15. June 2021 as the focal point, noted in the press release from the royal family.
