BVB managing director Hans-Joachim Watzke (62) apparently quickly digested the separation from coach Marco Rose. In an interview he now speaks openly about the separation.

Lots of changes: At the end of this season in Dortmund, the personnel carousel turned faster than ever before. The most prominent departure is coach Marco Rose. Borussia Dortmund’s boss Hans-Joachim Watzke is now talking about the separation in an interview with “Sky”.

Looking ahead: Watzke: “Marco did well for us. Then it happened like this. Personally, I’m very sorry, I had to nibble on it for a few days,” said the managing director. “I wish Marco all the best. Nevertheless, it is our job to look ahead now.”

Kehl’s plan: Borussia Dortmund prematurely terminated Rose’s contract on May 20th. Licensing manager Sebastian Kehl had shortly before said in the program “Doppelpass” on “Sport1” that he was planning with Rose for the coming season. Three days later, the club presented successor Erin Terzic.
