Drivers-foreign Affairs, following through the territory of Belarus, including from Russia and Russia from July 1, sighed quietly: restrictions imposed on them in March, taking account of measures to prevent the introduction and spread of infections caused by COVID-19, withdrawn.

we Recall that since the end of March, drivers in transit through the territory of Belarus on vehicles designed to perform international road transport, were obliged to pass only at certain national trunk roads, where it is possible to stop or rest stop, food and fuel cars. To leave the place of stay during the stay in this case was forbidden. In addition, to cross the country was on the shortest route and leave the country not later than the next day. The list of allowed movement of the highways, and stopping from time to time adjusted, but the fundamental situation for truckers has not changed.

Violations of the provisional rules were not rare, especially in the first weeks of limitation. And in early June in Belarus came into force a government decree “On the use of navigation devices (seals)” in accordance with which to track the movement of vehicles across the country could be in real time. Transport Inspectorate worked together with the representative of the national operator of the Belarusian-Russian state border and stopped the trucks, which later violations checked by the operator. So, by mid-June inspection specialists stopped more than 1,200 transit cars, the route of which was under special control. The same time the administrative process was conducted in relation to more than 240 carriers, whose transport has deviated from the suggested traffic patterns.

July indulgences became a balm for the soul of international road carriers, transporting cargo to Russia or its territory. In turn, the objects of the Belarusian road infrastructure gradually restore the flow of customers. Now it is time for a return to free movement of passenger cars and passenger transport. Looking forward to it.
