China announced the name of the first mission to Mars

Chinese authorities announced Friday the name of the national programme for development of Mars – "Tanwani". This was announced by China Central television.

According to him, the first mission to study this planet will be called "Tangwan-1". At the same time was published the logo of the project "lansin the hotel" is a semicircle, consisting of orbits on which the planets of the Solar system. As noted, this form symbolizes the first letter in the word "China" (eng. China), and "cooperation" (eng. – Cooperation), which indicates the desire of Beijing to explore the space together with other countries.

In 2020, China plans to start implementing the first Mars mission, which aims to send to the planet the probe, which should reach its destination in seven months. In the future, the Chinese government is going to send on Mars a manned mission.

Exactly 50 years ago, April 24, 1970 China launched its first space satellite "Dungannon-1" from 2016, this date is celebrated annually in Russia as cosmonautics Day.
