Corporation “rostec” fulfills the second part of the possible delivery of Turkish anti-aircraft missile complexes (AAMS) s-400 “Triumph”. As reported the press service of the Kremlin, said the General Director of Corporation Sergey Chemezov.

In 2017, as reported in the Rambler, Russia and Turkey have concluded a contract to supply s-400 cost $ 2.5 billion. In 2019, Russia supplied Turkey’s first systems. Today Chemezov presented to the President of Russia Vladimir Putin the report on the activities of “Rostec” for 2019. In the course of it he said that the supply of Turkey-400 was implemented ahead of schedule.

“This is the first contract of this scale in a NATO country. Now we are working on a possible second part of the delivery,” — said General Director of the Corporation.

In June, U.S. Senator John Thune suggested the authorities of the United States of America to buy s-400 from Turkey. Former Minister of foreign Affairs of Turkey Yasar Akash called this proposal a very strange and very funny.

In mid-July, the Ministry of defense of Russia reported that by the end of the year, the division that protects the Urals and the Volga region, are armed with two regiments of s-400.
