for many years he was Deputy head of the broadcasting company “Kuban-24”, then NTK, the largest in the region. In recent years he headed the radio “Kazak FM”. This radio gained enormous popularity among the audience in the Kuban, in the Crimea and other neighboring regions. And he did not represent life without adventure. “Caught moments” – it’s just pictures made during journeys in different countries.
the Winding streets of old Italian cities, the majestic canyon of America, city scenes in hospitable Georgia, and Armenia – the world as seen through the lens of the camera. As a journalist, Viktor tried not just dispassionately “register” what is happening, but to reveal his characters to show their experiences.
a Separate room is dedicated to India, because a trip to this country has brought many unexpected discoveries. For example, a large number of cows and monkeys on the bustling streets of Delhi, and no cats. “I haven’t seen them anywhere – he wrote later, Victor. – Although the ancient Hindus believed that man could become a cat as well, and the cat has the ability to transform into humans. The same faith was not enough… he Returned home and drove to my friends, I picked up the sleepy cat. Comfortably seated, after a moment, he growled loudly, gently pricking me with their claws. I thought how many Indians lost by ceasing to reincarnate into cats.”
We often went on road trips with friends, – tells the spouse of Valery Mal’chevskaya. – In Georgia, decided to make a sequel to the film “Mimino”. There is a fragment when Frunzik Mkrtchyan rides on the tractor in Telavi and asked a passerby “On the airfield how to get there?” And man, once on this spot, answered: “Right!” And we removed it. He was a man with a great sense of humor, all his friends knew about it.
In America, Victor traveled with my wife twice and the first time was honeymoon, which, however, did not prevent him instantly fall in love with new York. “As a young Kusturica took a beautiful picture – “Arizona dream”, casually opening the johnny Depp – he shared then impressions. And I remember a phrase from the film: “that’s why I love new York: you see all, and you – no one.” Many years later I learned that more about new York not say. Love this movie and this city.”
Of all his trips, he brought video footage and later edited home movies. They are also included in the exhibition. This year Victor Malczewski wanted to go to Paris. But, unfortunately, the dream did not come true. After a long illness, a journalist died in Krasnodar. 14 July 2020 he would have turned 50.

– to Hold a solo exhibition was a long time��th idea of Victor palchevskogo. But he kept postponing it. And now many can see how much soul he put into his photographs, revealing them as a journalist and public figure. Know that when planning your vacation, he always proceeded from the fact that he wants to remove. Therefore, it was important for us to help realize his dream together with family, friends and colleagues.
