In the Russian Embassy in Bulgaria has confirmed this information, but noted that no evidence of the Bulgarian side did not. “The Russian side reserves the right to take retaliatory action,” – said the Embassy.

Previously, the Agency Bloomberg reported that the Bulgarian Prosecutor’s office has identified two diplomats from Russia who were engaged in espionage. According to investigators, one of the diplomats from 2017 was to gather data on the elections in Bulgaria. The second in 2018 collected information related to energy.

Later, the press Secretary of the President of Russia noted that the Kremlin has no data on the investigation on the case of espionage against two Russian diplomats.
