Experts have started to build the international thermonuclear experimental reactor ITER. Primarily the project is aimed at ensuring the energy security of all mankind. Each participating country contributed to the implementation of the ideas, and even pandemic coronavirus around the world, did not affect the project schedule. It is expected that the Assembly of all components will be completed by 2025, when it received a first plasma, which confirms the efficiency of fusion reactors.
Russia is the initiator of the Association of international efforts to build ITER and is one of the key positions in the project.
