Doctor and TV presenter Alexander Miasnikov recalled that a number of diseases in people with black and white skin colour are treated differently and need a reasonable approach to the presentation of medical information. He said this on air of the program “Full contact”.

“Black and white are different in the medical sense. We know that hypertension is being treated differently from blacks than whites,” said the doctor.

She also reiterated that any mention of race is “thrown from many aspects”, however, the treatment needs to be taken into account. In particular, the serious race person has in the matter of functioning of the kidneys.

“The [blacks] the kidneys are under more stress and wear out faster. A difference of 20 percent is a lot. If you remove the race, it would seem that the kidney is working fine, and it really energized,” — said Myasnikov.

He urged the doctors to reasonableness, and not to abandon the mention of race in research.

“Rambler” wrote that earlier the death of the African-American George Floyd during police detention in the city of Minneapolis led to mass protests in the United States, putting on the agenda of the racial issues.
